Steve Kelly, the visionary behind Tush, embarked on his musical journey in 1990, inspired by ZZ Top's iconic "Eliminator" album. With a striking resemblance to the young Billy Gibbons, Steve brings an authentic and electrifying experience to audiences, paying homage to the legendary band's unique sound and style. Tush stands out as a tribute act, taking fans on a nostalgic journey through ZZ Top's illustrious career, with Steve embodying Gibbons' evolution over the decades.

In addition to leading Tush, Steve is a prolific artist working on his third album, showcasing his talents in guitar, drums, vocals, bass, and programming. His impressive collaborations span a diverse array of artists and brands, including Moby, Channel 4, MTV, Halo 2, Paul Cattermole (S Club 7), Judie Tzuke, Babyshambles, Stereophonics, Dido, Sony BMG, Universal, Xbox, The Firm Management, and Polydor.

In 2011 Steve was featured in Guitarist Magazine for Guitarist of the Year. Steve has recorded in legendary studios like Abbey Road, Town House and Sony Whitfield Street with his work featured on national radio. His contributions to music are recognised and endorsed by industry legends such as Warren Huart (Aerosmith), Terry Manning (ZZ Top, Lenny Kravitz), and J.J. Blair (Jonny Cash, Joe Bonamassa).

Tush, under Steve's dynamic leadership, offers an exhilarating tribute to ZZ Top, capturing the essence of the band's legacy and delivering unforgettable performances to fans worldwide.

Joe Holweger's journey to becoming the powerhouse drummer for Tush is rooted in the vibrant London music scene. Joe initially played alongside Steve on the covers circuit, forging strong musical connections. 

When Tush needed a drummer, Steve immediately thought of Joe. Confident in Joe's talent and compatibility with the band that continues to thrive.

Joe has worked with Adam Ant since 2011 and continues to tour with the band across Europe and the US. Throughout his career, Joe has collaborated with numerous acclaimed artists, including Belinda Carlisle, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, Dannii Minogue, T'Pau, and Girls Aloud.

 

In addition to his role in Tush, Joe is also a member of other bands such as Seven Dead, Spiderbites, and She Made Me Do It, showcasing his versatility and dedication to his craft.

Bass

Higs, the dynamic bassist for the alternative rock band The Ghears, has made a significant impact on the UK music scene. With The Ghears, Higs has toured extensively throughout the UK, including two major support tours with Snow Patrol. These tours saw him performing at prestigious venues such as Brixton Academy, Birmingham Academy, the O2 Forum, The Ritz in Manchester, and the Ulster Hall in Belfast.

In addition to their tours with Snow Patrol, The Ghears also hit the road with the garage rock band The Mooney Suzuki and shared stages with notable acts like Deus and Explosions in the Sky. The band's discography includes two studio albums and the single "4 Minute Mile" which was released at HMV stores under Izumi Records.

More recently, Higs has showcased his versatility by performing with various tribute acts, including Forever Jackson, 24K Bruno and now Tush. His performances have taken him to theatres and venues across the UK and internationally to Spain, the Netherlands, and Dubai, further cementing his reputation as a seasoned and adaptable musician.
